The dune-p4estgrid grid module is now available. It brings a number of improvements compared to existing grid implementations, for example, improved scalability in parallel-adaptive computations. This grid implementation could be used as a drop-in replacement for dune-alugrid or dune-uggrid when using quadrilateral or hexahedral grids. A companion paper is available at arxiv.
